What Can We Expect at MHI's ProMatDX?
Trade shows are a critical part of the material handling world and MHI’s MODEX and ProMat are the best around.
If you’ve been in the industry for any amount of time, you know MODEX and ProMat have a special role in material handling because they are the absolute best way for suppliers and end-users to connect, share ideas and see the latest technology.
The pandemic has been a big challenge for manufacturers, suppliers, integrators and end-users alike, but there’s light at the end of the tunnel. For the first time in a while, it feels like we are rapidly moving towards getting back to the “old normal”, as opposed to the “new normal” we’ve been in for more than a year. Unfortunately, we’re not quite there yet and as such this year’s ProMat looks a little different.
So, what can we expect from ProMatDX?
MHI has been working around the clock to provide a platform for these vital trade show connections continue to be made, despite the ongoing pandemic. The result: ProMatDX — a new digital event experience designed to provide manufacturing and supply chain professionals with critical access to the latest solutions they need now to improve the resiliency and agility of their operations. ProMat DX is April 12-16, 2021. Click here to register.
As described by MHI, “ProMatDX combines the power of the connections, solution-sourcing and education that only ProMat can deliver with the latest digital event technology in a five-day event that will be the most important week of 2021 for the manufacturing and supply chain industry. Attending ProMatDX is your unrivaled opportunity in 2021 to find solutions, connect with your peers and leading solution-providers and learn the latest trends and technologies that will take your supply chain to the next level of success.”
There are a three big picture items that all attendees should know about ProMatDX:
“Sponsor Showcase” = “Sponsor Booth”
A sponsor showcase is the digital equivalent of a booth presence. As attendees enter the sponsor showcase, they have the opportunity to view a schedule of their product demos, educational sessions that will take place April 12-16. They can also download product information, view videos, engage with the showcase staff and social media, review product photos and much more!
The Schedule is as Full as Ever
No surprise here, MHI has once again outdone themselves with a schedule chocked full of education content and inspiring keynote speakers. There are thousands of product demos and over 100 sessions will be taking place during ProMatDX. The 10-minute product demos and the 30-minute educational sessions will include real-time group Q&A via chat. All sessions and product demos will be archived for attendees on Monday, April 19.
There are Plenty of Networking Opportunities
MHI is providing each attendee with “Virtual Business Cards”. These have two primary purposes: 1) they allow attendees to connect with a product expert or sales representative from a sponsor company, and 2) they allow attendees to connect with each other at a variety of different networking opportunities. These networking opportunities include live chats, innovation chats and even a ProMatDX Game. Virtual business cards include first and last name, email address, title, company.
