COVID-19 Precautions August 2021 Update
Due to the recent spike in positive COVID-19 cases across numerous states and the more contagious Delta strain, Carter Intralogistics is now requiring face masks to be worn inside all its facilities.
Beginning immediately, all Carter Intralogistics employees and visitors, whether vaccinated or not, must properly wear a face covering over their nose and mouth. Masks will need to be worn at all times and should only be removed when outside, eating and/or drinking on break, or at lunch in a socially distanced space. Employees working inside an office should wear their masks in all common areas, especially when inside the plants, hallways, or whenever someone is visiting in their office.
When it comes to traveling, Carter Intralogistics asks its employees to be safe. If flying, please be sure to take the necessary precautions. If possible, please drive to your destination. It is also highly recommended to obtain a COVID-19 test after traveling and before entering a Carter Intralogistics facility.
All employees should continue to monitor and report any COVID-19 or respiratory illness symptoms to their direct manager and/or a representative of the HR team. Employees should continue to practice social distancing and practice good hygiene, like frequent hand washing and using hand sanitizer while working in shared spaces.
Carter Intralogistics hopes this new mask requirement will be short-term. We thank our employees and visitors for complying to our COVID-19 policy to help us mitigate the spread of the Delta virus in our facilities. Our safety team will continue to monitor the situation and update our teams when needed.
